Disability SA’s Developmental Educators (DEs) and Occupational Therapists (OTs) provide comprehensive Functional Capacity Assessments to identify a person’s functional abilities, support needs and capacity across everyday life. Our DEs and OTs provide clear, evidence based recommendations to support NDIS planning and decision making, with a strong focus on independence, participation, safety and achieving meaningful individual goals.

Disability SA's team of Developmental Educators and Occupational Therapists provide advocacy within a participant's school, workplace or community to provide an extra voice and help ensure their wants, needs and human rights are communicated and actioned on together.
Occupational Therapists
Occupational Therapists provide individualised supports to people across the lifespan, promoting health and wellbeing through increasing capacity and independence in everyday occupations of life.
School Leaver Employment Support (SLES)
Disability SA supports participants every step of the way through the transition from leaving school into further study or the workforce. Support can include career counselling, goal setting, preparing for work or study, confidence and capacity building, work experience opportunities and coaching.
